The Connection began in 1994 as a local call-in news program at WBUR, Boston. In 1998,
The Connection became a nationally syndicated program, distributed by Public Radio
International (PRI). In 2001, National Public Radio took over distribution of the
program. The Connection enjoyed a successful run of over 10 years on public radio,
and the program’s last broadcast was on August 5, 2005.
